Olympiad Skate Company was established in St. Paul during the 1930's by William Blochinger and Almond L. Colbiornsen.    Mr. Blochinger patented the first "zig-zag" toe rake which he claimed to be "self cleaning".  Olympiad was in business for close to  75 years.
